1. Dont wait till the screen saver launches....
Just place a shortcut for the screen saver file(.scr file type) on your desktop...
Search for the *.scr files and place the one which you want on the desktop...
By double clicking on it...the screen saver is immediately launched....
1. Generally after opening the program from start menu, the start menu closes...
To avoid it press shift key while launching a program from the start menu to launch
multiple programs......
1.a. Upgrading your file system to NTFS
You can upgrade to NTFS using CONVERT.EXE. in 2000 even after installation...........
For example:
Go to "Command Prompt"
Type:CONVERT C: /FS------------------------------(Converts drive C to NTFS:)
Press ENTER
2. To keep your system safe while editing registry:
Many times you would feel why you did not create a restore point before starting to work on the registries...
There is another way of taking backup of the original registries before editing...Rt.click on the "mycomputer" in Registry editor and click export...All the original registries will be exported to the location you mention...
